Good thing is that you can take your time and do not have to worry about people standing next to you waiting for a table (I hate that makes me rush though my meal) Price? much cheaper than many other stalls.
The cereal soft shell crab is very crispy and does not have a fishy smell. Some other dishes I mostly order: Hot plate tofu, lemon chicken, prawn paste chicken, sambal kang kong/sweet potato leaves. Once i had black pepper crab there and it was quite good, however they don't serve that now.
A bad experience: My family and I have always enjoyed going there for dinners. As my dad liked their black pepper crabs, one of the workers asked us to bring our own crabs. We did that once and they charged us $6 which is cheap. The second time, one of the assitant chefs was not happy as he had to kill and clean he crab that he smashed our crabs to bits(literally). And he had the guts to stare at us afterwards. Grrrr.....
However, I still recommend you to try it, it's good.
When we try out other Zhi Char stalls we always compare it to Kenny's C food, and Kenny's is still top my list except for that (I have an attitude) chef :)
